Gettaway Vacation

A little painting I did for Valentine's day! Happy belated Valentines! Hope you're spending it somewhere warm!

Charity Pokemon Project: Poliwag

I was invited to be a part of SJSUs Amy Kim and Peter Le's Pokemon Charity Gallery! Everyone (current Shrunkenheads and other Alum) was assigned one Pokemon of the original 150, with the instructions to recreate it in any style and medium you wanted. The only requirement was that the work be 7in x 7in. The pieces are being collected so they can be shown in a gallery in April, where they will be auctioned off and the proceeds given to a charity that gets service dogs for disabled children.

Here are some shots of my Pokemon, Poliwag. I decided to do a paper cut piece, with the theme of a young boy's adventures in his backyard.

I know I havent been good about posting things latley, but hopefully I can get myself together and keep this blog up to date! That said, here are a couple of digital still life of spoons that I was working on over the winter break. I definitly need to do more of these, as they were both fun and helpful
